About me

Having spent many years in East London and a short stint in New York, nature and the sea has pulled me to Dorset in the South Coast of England where I live with my husband and children.

I am continually exploring new ways of realising my illustrations.  Linocut, woodblock, paper cut, pencil, ink, watercolour and most recently rubber stamps all play a collaborative role in my work.  Regardless of the medium the most important thing is that the mark of my hand is present. 

I am endlessly inspired by the natural forms I see around me, the wondrous imaginations of my young children and the beautiful countryside I live in.
